Doulas Akula
In PS 1.4.7.0 statistics then software we have graphs of the browsers being used. If you also link your site with google analytics you will be able to access a dashboard under browser and OS with all that information. I hope that sheds some light. gianno74
I use PS 1.5.3.1. Browser detection is used for different graphical content in product.tpl page. I found this {$smarty.server.HTTP_USER_AGENT}, i hope it works fine.
PrestaMonster.com
Do you want to detect browser (and/or device) in .php, or .tpl or .js code?
Doulas Akula
detection should be php displaying should be .tpl in front end and php still in backend. But again it depends with exactly how you want to accomplish it and for what purpose. This will influence what you use.
