i.falco Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 Hi everyone, The person who set up our e-commerce shop, hosting, and design has disappeared after taking our money for our project. This person is nowhere to be found and our domain name as well as our hosting service will soon expire. We have no way to save our data because inside our back-office, we do not have full access, such as for "DB Backup" or any module. We only have access to add products, categories, manage sales, clients, etc. but no access to make fundamental changes on the site. Can anyone help? Thanks! We already lost our domain, entire database, and hosting access to one of our websites because this person that was hired has now disappeared...we're afraid this will happen again. I agree, most hosting providers will work something out with you, even if you are not the one who registered it. It may take a couple of calls.
