I've a problem adding products in v1.2 final

Hi all, I am having a problem with adding products to my store, I think its just a permissions thing but im not too sure i hope you will be able to point me in the right direction.

I AM able to add products and get the " Creation successful" message, and also the " Update successful", when adding an image to the product.

(I have created 1 main category ("test category"), and 1 sub category ("test sub category")

BUT......

In Backoffice > Catalog > Tracking i get

Catalog tracking

List of empty categories: 2 found

Home

Home > test category

List of disabled products: 0 found
List of out of stock products: 0 found

And on the website itself (Front office) ......

Product shows as New in the "New Products" box/module.

BUT If you try to view the product you get a message

"PAGE NOT AVAILABLE"

"We're sorry, but the Web address you entered is no longer available"

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Found the solution via this link:

The 3 steps below are what I did once and now it works,

1) Basically, when you enter a product, the default category needs to be anything but "Home".
2) Ensure you have Friendly URL enbled under 'Preferences'
3) Goto 'Tools' > 'Generators' and generate a new htzccess file again.

It should work now, even if additional products have their default category as 'Home'.
