[SOLVED] How to set checkbox "available for order" to unchecked as default?

Does anyone know what/where to change the Prestashop code to make a new product not have available for order checked as default?

I want to have it unchecked as most of my products aren't available for ordering, only some, so it will be better/easier to check the box for the items that are available for ordering.

Any pointers are highly appreciated.

I am a little bit late ;-)

But I faced the same issue, so here is the solution I found.

In the file classes/product.php, I change the value $available_for_order to false.
