leowls
After copying my files and database from the live server to my localhost, I'm unable to view my store. I can access the back office but when I click on the 'view my store' link, it shows a server configuration page. Please advise. Thanks.

vekia
thanks have you configured the ps_shop_url table in your database? it is necessary, and after that - remove the .htaccess file and reload your website front page
leowls
hi yes, those settings have been changed and the .htaccess files removed. but the issue is still there..
vekia
ok, so it's probably server side case. you've got your prestashop in subdirectory? for example: localhost/presta/ ?

vekia
So, I hope understood you well. When you're trying to open http://localhost/prestahop you've got server configuration page instead the prestashop? and when you create for example - experimental directory /test/ and when you create there index.html file with <h1>hello world</h1> - you also get the server configuration page instead correct index.html? leowls
when i browse to http://localhost/prestahop, i got a server config page. but when i created a new test directory and an index..html page, it was showing as it should. so maybe there is still some misconfiguration in my prestashop...hmmm
vekia
Try to create index.html file in your prestashop directory, then try to open shop page. Does it work in this way?
