Tried to rollback after the latest upgrade messed up my site, but the rollback broke my site.

I used the 1 click update to update my site, V1.5.4.0 to the latest version. When I did my site was broken and all my thumbnails where gone. I tried to regenerate them, but it wouldn't work and my theme (default prestashop theme) was weird. So I did a rollback to the back up I made just before updating. That did not work and now I get the following error..

And now my site goes straight to my cgi bin when I try to pull up my site. I can access all my files from my cpanel and I can see my back-ups but I'm not sure how to restore my site. Can someone please help tell me what I need to do to restore my site.

does the file: config/config.inc.php exist?

maybe you've got backup of this file? If so, try to upload it to the config directory.

 

if you've got backups in your cpanel control panel, use backup for example from day before you tried to upgrade

no the config file doesn't seem to exist anymore. And the back up is just a sql file created with the auto backup. How do I restore it from the cpanel?

if you've got only sql file - it will not restore the file located in directories - just sql databases

So in other words there is nothing else I can do to restore it. Figures. Guess I'll find another cart program, this one has way too many bugs.

have you checked cpanel? maybe there you've got option to restore both files and database, by one mouse click
