Alain Costea
Hello, If the product I sell, are made by me, on comand, and practically I have no stock, no manufacters, no suppliers, is there a sense to use the stock management? Thanks. Edited May 4, 2013 by Alain Costea (see edit history)
yaniv14
Will you ever ran out of stock? Do you make them on daily/weekly basis? Do you make them after order was placed? Unless you sell products that you have only certain amount in stock, than you don't really need stock management. In my opinion.
Alain Costea
I sell wall stickers, so, I made them , after I have the order from client. It is a matter of hours, usually. And I have no stocks. I didn't desabled the stock module, because, I was afraid not to create some problems that I am not aware of...
yaniv14
What I do in my shop is just add manual quantity (like 100). Because like you I won't ran out of stock
Alain Costea
Yes, that is what i did until now... Problem is that, for every product I have 38 colors...so 3.800 products... very big stock... lot of money Probably is the best to do like that. the.rampage.rado
Just don't bother using stock. Set default behaviour for 'out of stock products ordering' - allow and you will have -13987 products but it's good because you'll never end up with some products disabled.
