Assistance with cart and register

I have a store on 1.5.4.0 that will not allow me to add items to the cart and there is an 01. error when someone tries to register for an account. I have been reviewing the threads and trying suggestions but nothing is working

 

Is there a solution that can fix those 2 items?

For the first - turn error reporting in your prestashop. Then check your frontpage once again.

Second thing - turn console (chrome f12 / fn+f12) and try to add item to cart, if some errors appear in console - paste error code here

 

for now - it's hard to say whats going on without details
