brightblanks
I had PayPal installed on my shop, but I have not officially opened yet. However, I was doing a test sale and when I got to the page to pay it said "No payment module has been installed". I looked and sure enough PayPal was showing as uninstalled. I have tried to reinstall and it keeps saying "Not a module... or some error like that". What is going on? This is the free PayPal module. Are they trying to make everyone buy the PayPal module? Please help!
benjamin utterback
Hi brightblanks, don't worry. We are not forcing you to purchase anything. Now, you havent given too much information. Do me a favor and check was version of PrestaShop you have, and also, what version of the PayPal module are you trying to install?

benjamin utterback
Can you delete that module. Download PayPal 3.5 from the addon store for free, and re install it.
brightblanks
Yes, to reinstall, what's the best way to do that? Should I delete the PayPal module folder on FTP and copy new folder in?
benjamin utterback
You can delete the module from the Back Office, and then download the latest version and again. Reinstall from the back office. Let us know if this helps!
hansek
Today I solved the same problem, but problem wasn't in Paypal module, but in module ShipToPay. Client made few changes in backend (update Carriers and it changed their IDs), ShipToPay doesn't follow the changes and you have to configure payment methods for shiping inside Configuration of ShipToPay again.
