[solved] Search Box Problem

Can someone lead me in the right direction as far as where to find to increase the input size for the search block... attaching 3 images... 1 of which has the letters 'ip' which looks like 'in'.

it's hard to say because you use non-default theme. Without an access to the website we can't say what you have to change.

If it is possible - please paste the url to your website and us - developers will check it and say what you need to do

remove height:11px; param

then you can manipulate of font-size param or other like padding-top / padding-bottom

That did it! Believe it or not, I was looking at the same place, just didn't know the height param was causing the issue.

Oh, one more... in IE it is ok, but in Chrome when you click inside the search box to type in a keyword, there is a 'orange' box that appears... wonder what causes that.

 

In Safari it appears blue

it's not prestashop / theme code issue, it's just the browser settings.

My search block is in the wrong place - what do I have to do to move it into the menu bar at the top, or alternatively to the centre top of the page?
