Newsletter questions

Hi

 

I have several questions about the newsletter. I have prestashop 1.5.4.1 and have installed

Newsletter block with promo and social networks module.

 

 

Questions:

1. When a client subscribes to the newsletter on the front page as a guest and after that also registeres as a customer, the back office module does not update the "newsletter allowed" section in the Customer section. So although the client has subscribed to the newsletter, I see in the backoffice as if newsletter is not allowed. Is there any way to fix this?

 

2. When client subscribes to the newsletter on the frontpage, without becoming a customer, how can I unsubscribe her?

 

3. When a client is a registered customer, and logs in to her account, is there a place where she can unsubscribe or subscibe to the newsletter?

 

4. Is it possible to add an option to subscrirbe to the newsletter on the registration form or on the checkout form? I tried enabling the Required fields under the Customer section but it does not display the newlsetter option on the registration form, only displays an error "you have to subscribe", but there is no place where you can subscribe.

 

I am using theme Alysum 2.3.
