bourdux
Hello, I have a problem with product image uploads. As displayed in the screenshots below, while the original image has very vivid colors, such as the reds, the colors of the image after upload are faded. Original picture: After upload: I had a look at the following post: http://www.prestasho...color-problems/ but the original picture size and the thickbox sizes are the same: 1024x1024. Any idea? bourdux
By the way, if it's of any use, the images are in PNG format, both in the source and the destination formats...
PascalVG
Hello Bourdux, Sorry for asking the obvious: Did you change the PNG quality setting (Back office: Preferences->Image) to a lower number to see if this will change the quality? Did this do any good/bad? Let us know. my 2 cents, pascal.
bourdux
Sorry for asking the obvious: Did you change the PNG quality setting (Back office: Preferences->Image) to a lower number to see Yeah, I tried that too and the result was the same. I don't know but the PHP resize library might compress the image by also reducing the color palette.
bourdux
Got it! My original images were in Adobe RGB profile and PHP GD image functions only handle sRGB. So I converted my original images into sRGb and it worked! Edited May 2, 2013 by bourdux (see edit history)
