tdr170
In my 1.5.4.1 test site on the carrier page the text (tax incl.) is showing even though I have each carrier set to NO tax. If anything it should say (tax excl.) as there is no carrier tax set. I can not seem to find a solution for this other then editing the order-carrier.tpl file and removing both tax lines. There are no translation's you can remove in order-carrier. Any Ideas. Thanks. Edited July 10, 2013 by tdr170 (see edit history)
mir69
Hello, I would like to ask as well for any option to disable display signs "tax excl." from all sections - carrier, orders summary etc. Is any way to set it without deleting parts in "themes/default/shopping-cart.tpl", or somewhere else? I´ve disabled all Vat rules in taxes, customer groups... but VAT excl. still displays. Thank you! Miro.

bruce-rez
Hi, Me too, I want to remove all (tax incl. and tax excl.) from every where they apperar, for example in shopping-cart summary, orders, carrier,etc... Here in US we don't need to show tax incl. and tax excl in shoipping-cart summary I want to keep the Shopping-cart summary simple and less confusing for US customers, since I sell only in USA. Please see the screen shot as example. Thank you
bruce-rez
I fixed my problem with shopping-cart summary by going to Localization >Translation, choosing my theme and then changing the words to my liking. tdr170, I could also remove the (tax incl.) in carrier page in Translation page. See screen shots. Edited July 10, 2013 by bruce-rez (see edit history)
tdr170
Well in my case there is no text in the translation column to delete or change, am I missing something here. I was able to change the cart summary page and remove the (tax incl.) from Total, Total shipping and others but not from the carrier page. did you have text in the field to delete??? bruce-rez
tdr170, There is no text neither in mine, you need just to put only one space in the empty field of (tax excl.). Explanation: Go to the same page Localization > Translation ,when you're in order-carrier section (as your screen shot) click on empty space just in front of (tax excl.) and then put only one space with your SpaceBar (on your computer keyboard), save and then go to front-office and test it. I hope that helps. Edited July 10, 2013 by bruce-rez (see edit history)
tdr170
YEP!!! That was the trick it never dawned on me just to space over. Some times you feel like a nut some times you just feel stupid. LOL Thanks
benjamin utterback
I think that previously you had to input some text. I remember when we were trying to remove the Free Shipping text from the Ajax cart, I had to input a "-" because the space did not work. That's good to know. Tod, is this Solved now? webbit
You could also edit the order-carrier.tpl file with the following <!--{l s='(tax excl.)'}-->
