bainzy Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 When trying to complete checkout with the offline upgraded version of my shop, I get this error message: Error occurred: Please try to contact the merchant: PayPal response: -> Is this is a normal occurrence because Paypal won't work if the site is running off my desktop? This is preventing me from upgrading as I cannot responsibly commit to an upgrade without knowing I can get the Paypal module working. it's particularly frustrating as I've had to work through a lot of other bugs with Prestashop to get to this stage, and am getting no feedback at the final, possibly small hurdle. the hat lady Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 I tried upgrade 1.4.9 to1.4.11 and Paypal will not work. I have always had paypal working. This is a game changer. bellini13 Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 when you upgrade your store, you should uninstall paypal, and then re-install the module. also make sure you have templates set to force compile. If you simply upgrade Prestashop and then just add a new the paypal module it will not work Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
