bw_pdx
hello! I am having the "Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data." in the backoffice while browsing/editing my catalog. It's a constant error and very frustrating. I am not using memcached due to our host(startlogic) not supporting it, but have selected file system for caching. not sure if this would be an issue. any thoughts or advice of where to go from here would be very appreciated!! thank you! shane p.s. i'm using PrestaShop™ 1.4.6.2 (updating a good idea at this point?) prestashopninja
Hello, This may be caused by a few things, and most of them are client-side issues. Did you try with a different browser? If you are using Google Chrome, there are good chances you are experiencing a known bug. If it still won't work with Firefox either, you will probably need WinSockFix http://www.brothersoft.com/winsockfix-66663.html I hope this helps. bw_pdx
i did find the manual way to reset winsock: netsh winsock reset catalog (resets winsock entries) netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (resets TCP/IP stack). not sure if this is what you meant w/ winsockfix. The problem still persists though... i've added some pics of highlights from the database too, as a friend mentioned it was not good stats. but i don't much on this area. prestashopninja
Hello again, Three more points to check: 1. Disable File system cache. 2. Disable CCC cache, if enabled. 3. Disable Friendly URL's (.htaccess) If none of the above will work, I don't have in mind anything else than to issue a bug report.
