leandrocosas
Hi guys, can anyone help me? I'm a little bit new in Prestashop and I'd like to know how I can remove trailing slashes from categories. I've created some backlinks with slash and I cannot remove them more. Anyone? Cheers.
SahinSOLMAZ
Hi, source: themes/yourTheme/css/global.css <- open file #categories_block_left li { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; border-bottom: 1px solid #EDEDED; <- remove margin: 0 15px; padding: 8px 0; } save and upload. leandrocosas
Sorry shnslmz. Today, I have some categories in my online store, something like that: www.onlinestore.com.br/5-boxers www.onlinestore.com.br/6-thrunks etc But, Google's indexed some URLs slashed and no slashed. For example: www.onlinestore.com.br/5-boxers and www.onlinestore.com.br/5-boxers/ www.onlinestore.com.br/6-thrunks and www.onlinestore.com.br/6-thrunks/ This thing is not good for SEO, because it cause Duplicate Content. This thing happed because I have created some backlinks in others websites with slash at the end of URL. I want to redirect (by 301), the URLs slashed to URL no slashed. Is it clearer now? Sorry again

benjamin utterback
Hello leandrocosas, google will always index the backlinks that you created. It should not be a big problem for SEO unless you made a huge amount of backlinks.
