Customize order-address.tpl

Prestashop experts,

I've been working to customize order-address.tpl, but with a lot of frustration. Seems under address_delivery I can remove all lines except name, country, and update. But if i remove update, the dropdowns to select the address profile to use, etc. then I can't go on to the next page due to a bad address or javascript errors.

All I need to display here really is the comments box. But firstname and lastname under Billing and Delivery wouldn't be bad.

Alternatively, I could skip this entire page. But haven't seen a solution in the forums on how to do that correctly yet.


Anyone have any suggestions on how to collect the needed data in hidden fields, so I don't have to depend on the javascript (?) this page requires? (I assume that's what's holding me back)
