You don't mention if this is your first time setting up PayPal. So sorry for asking this, but have you logged into PayPal and created the API keys and entered that info in the PayPal module configuration? Are you setting up basic or Express or Pro?

What version of PS 1.5, and what is the version number of the PayPal module?

Are you sure you have disabled IIS, because you are running Windows Server? And are you sure you have configured Windows Firewall to allow WAMP to receive traffic from PayPal on Port 80?

Sorry,

I am on PS 1.5.4

Pay Pal module 3.4.9, Yes i have the API info configured.

Windows firewall is at present turned off.

IIS is running, but turning it off only stopped email from working and fixed nothing.

Ok, and when you type localhost into your browser Prestashop loads so I assume somehow you are on Port 80 and it is working.

If you haven't already, you should uninstall the PayPal module and then reinstall and try again.

If that doesn't work, try this newer version attached PayPal 3.5.0

paypal.zip

uninstalled and reinstalled. no change.

uninstalled and installed the version you attached. no change.

PrestaShop wins. I have been fighting this for over a week now and can not find a solution. And now to top it all off the alignment on the front page of the store is all off. the modules are shifted on top of one another.

PrestaShop bills itself as easy to setup and that you can be working in 5 minutes. I would suggest they change the slogan however I guess you get what you pay for.
