nefrito Posted April 26, 2013 Share Posted April 26, 2013 Recently i installed a fresh prestashop in my site and chnaged some css even add some plugins that comes with the installation. I did installed on more called Luv plugin. Now, the home slider has by default 5 slides showing mostly apple stuff. The thing is my third slide is suppose to show a ipad image but now i discovered the image is something else although in BO it has a ipad image. the thied one is showing a sells & brother image distortioned. This wasnt the image shown when i installed prestashop 1.5.4. Please help as this is alarming and scary to have a security hole to the database or else. Here I have two screenshot image of the BO and my shop showing the images of the third slide. As you can see the BO shows the correct image an ipad and the shop shows some weird image of sell&brothers Can someone confirm is this is a security issue and if i have been hack? prestashop v is 1.5.4 recent fresh install Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
guest* Posted April 26, 2013 Share Posted April 26, 2013 Not Prestashop is insecure, but some external modules opening wholes in scripting. Are you sure that the module LUV is secure and working correct ? For more security on your fornt-office you should activate cookie-sessions in the front-office and also use some anti-spam technology tools (f. ex. project honeypot) on your server to have a 99,99% secure project.
