Attributes - combinations not shown in customer order?

Hi Not sure if anyone can help with this please? New to prestashop. New to having web site! I'm having a problem with attributes-combinations. I have set-up several options (combinations) so customers can personalise a product by having it made up from several different colours. But the customer order generated only shows the first colour option chosen? So I have to phone or email the customer to ask the colour combination they want.
