Google Analytics and Sitemap for multi domaine

Hi,

 

I have prestashop on multi site (multi domaine). 1.5.2

 

www.tropique-paris.com in english

www.tropique.fr in french

www.tropique.de in dutch

www.tropique.it in italian

etc..

 

My module Google Analytics works on my domain.fr

 

The module instaled in one plateform, how do i do to have distinction between each domaine ? .com / .fr / .de / .it etc.

 

Samething for the sitemap, how do i do to have different sitemap per domaine?

To set different analytics ID's by shop and for 1.5 in a correctly configured multishop .

 

back office-->modules

at the top select the shop you want to work with Multistore configuration for (the target shop)

update the Google Analytics configuration for that shop.

 

I have little experiences with the 1.5 sitemap, but my understanding is that it builds one sitemap with all each shops data. This is important because bots look for sitemap.xml. Also this allows you to submit one sitemap for all your stores to search engines.

i have only one shop whith differente domaine

 

You 'should' define each shop to multi-shop....this way you can have different definitions for each domain. shop name, default language...all sorts of useful things...

 

define one additional shop and learn what you want to share (customers) and not share (themes/modules). By not sharing say themes, then you can have different logo's....for modules, then you can have different analytic id's.

I reinstall prestashop 1.5.4.1

 

This is my configuration now

 

 

 

For google analytics i succeed to parameter one account for each domaine

 

for the sitemap prestashop is creating sitemap in the .FR not in each domain

can you help me and tell me how i c an create sitemap in the language of each domaine and separated sitemap

 

www.tropique.fr/sitemap.xml

www.tropique.es/sitemap.xml

www.tropique.de/sitemap.xml

etc.

Hi

 

yes you need to activate the multishop and then create different shop for each domaine / Shop

 

You can have the same shop in multi domaine (then have different function for each domaine but share the database of customer and of catalogue), if this is what you need, you have to have all the shop in the same groupe and then to create differente shop in this group like this :

 

Groupe : Tropique

 

If you want to have different shop (to not share database customer and catalogue, it's better to create 2 groups like :

Groupes de boutique

when you do that you can set the google analytic and sitemap module for each domaine

 

i have allready some problems whith sitemap module (it's create a lot of sitemap wrong and there is probleme whith the robot file) but this is the way you have to do.

Hi

 

Thanks for your answer, yes I created a differents shops with a differents domains and the shops are working.

 

The problem is with the sitemap, for example:

 

www.domainA.es (Spain) - main web -

www.domainB.pt (Portugal)

 

When I create the sitemap for the domain B with the Prestashop module, the sitemap of the Domain A is deleted.

 

An also, another question, where do you put the sitemap of the second domain? I have the second domain without hosting, I only registered the domain.
