papagino Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 Hello everyone, I have an online shop www.miraxsupplements.com where both regular web clients and resellers can login. It is setup so that if a reseller login, cost prices instead of retail prices will be shown and also blocks that are related to resellers only. For this to work, my shop is setup in the “B2B mode”. (When B2B mode is enable in the back office, new fields related to business appears in the registration page of the site…) Is there a way to make the field “Company” in the login / (account creation) not mandatory so that a regular customer doesn’t have to put something in that field in order to register? djmonkeyboy Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 Offhand on my version of 1.5.4 in B2B mode while registering, the extra info (YOUR COMPANY INFORMATION) such as Company is not required, maybe you just forgot to toggle the CUSTOMER DATA PRIVACY checkbox during your testing? papagino Posted April 23, 2013 Author Share Posted April 23, 2013 Hi djmonkeyboy, I'm on P.S.1.5.3.1 and for some reasons, the Company field is required. I noticed this when looking at the registered customer data, they had to put something in that field in order to complete the registering process. My shop has quit a bit of mods already done to it and I am a bit reticent to upgrade to 1.5.4. I just need to find what code validator to edit in order to render that field un-required...
