oldskooljunkieguy
Getting this error "Cannot write language file for email subjects" While trying to modify colors in the email templates it won't save something wrong with pathway. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? "themes/default/mails/en/lang.php" Edited April 22, 2013 by oldskooljunkieguy (see edit history)
tdr170
You do kmow that you can now change colors of Emails from the back office, look to Preferences, Themes scroll down and you will see Mail color. For manual editing you should check the folder and file permissions, folders should be 755 and files 644. oldskooljunkieguy
Yeah the default color is okay, but still some parts in order emails are still pink instead of my color green. So I was trying to edit color in html of email template. Also change some of the wording etc. Edited April 22, 2013 by oldskooljunkieguy (see edit history)
tdr170
Did you check the folder permissions. Are you editing these on you computer then uploading or editing with FTP program Edited April 22, 2013 by tdr170 (see edit history)

tdr170
It is far easier to edit them on your computer using either an html program or Notepad++ (free) then upload. I use homesite5 an old html editor that allows you to edit in code view then use preview to see the changes. I use Notepad++ to edit TPL and CSS files before uploading. And for some items I just edit them right in the FTP program, left click and choose edit. You can find some free html editors at downloads.com that may suite your needs. oldskooljunkieguy
I can use my ftp program then I guess, ha didn't really think of that just will have to look at them in translations then edit in ftp. I will let you know if it works without issues.
oldskooljunkieguy
It took a little more time that way, but with the html editor was no issue at all. Was a little quicker before being able to change in back shop, but no biggie. Thanks a lot for your help!
i-magem
Good night, I solved this in Prestashop 1.5.4.1 copying the folder "mails" (/ public_html / mails) to / public_html / themes / my thema. Worked. Edict now direct translation in BO. Hope this helps.
