pleasuremepalace
kind of new at this, but i'm having a problem with the data feed CSV. when i open the csv file the descriptions look like this: It'll be summer all year round with the 2013 Playboy No Swimsuit Required Calendar. See the Playmates in their most provocative poses in barely there bikinis, with no full nudity. how do i keep the punctuation from causing those errors? i'm pretty new and unskilled at this, so the more simple your answer, the less dumb questions i'll ask in response. thanks!!!! prestamax
Your program has most likely converted a special character into ascii code. Copying the description in a simple text editor and copying it back into the csv file should help.
benjamin utterback
Hello prestamax, version 1.5 can also handle URL's with special characters now. Hopefully he can use your solution and still have friendly URL's with his special characters.

benjamin utterback
Hello pleasuremepalace, yes you can import your products using the CSV import method, or by using one of several mass upload modules.
pleasuremepalace
it's not importing the CSV file i was asking about, i know how to do that. It's fixing the special characters through a simple text editor that i was asking about.
benjamin utterback
Hey, sorry about that. Just take the original copy you had with the special characters and import it into a text editor like notepad. Then you can make your CSV. The problem is that when you copied it, the program changed the values.
