spring00
Ok its another day and another frustrating bug with prestashop 1.5.4. This time I've set up myself as the SuperAdmin and I want to set up a client as an employee. I've set up the client and I can see in phpmyAdmin that the new account is set up. But I cant access the BO when I test the login info. Strangely at one point it wouldnt let me login as myself so I asked for a password reset email, logged in with the new generated password. I was going to change my password back to my normal one but I've found my normal (original) password still works! How bizarre. So now in phpMyadmin I can see my account which shows a strange generated password which I've never used (its not the reset) and my client's account. But I still cant login as my client. I hope I am making sense. I am getting really fed up with all the bugs in prestashop.

It doesnt work, moreover, after creating an account your admin account doesnt work too? Am I right?
spring00
Sorry if I made it too confusing. I just thought if I explain all the little glitches it might help someone to work out the problem. Basically I can now login as myself even though I'm using a different password to the one showing in phpMyadmin. So its ok but I'm worried as to why phpMyadmin is wrong. But more importantly I cant login as my client. Their details show in phpMyAdmin correctly.
spring00
In case this helps anyone else the only solution was to make the Client a SuperAdmin level of employee which I dont want to do but I have no choice.
