Can I amend the e-mail templates in Prestashop?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

Am I able to amend the e-mail templates that are set in Prestashop.

I wish to amend the templates for when we pass the orders for processing and also when the customer's orders have been shipped.

At the moment it is a one line email, however, if I can I would like to amend it.

Do anyone know if this is possible?

Under the "orders" tab, there is a sub heading of "statuses" which you can enable or disable automatic e-mails to the customers when you change the current status of their order.

It will bring up a list of all the statuses, where you can click edit to enable or disable the e-mails. If you enable .. so click the "send e-mail to customer when order is changed to this status" right at the bottom before the "SAVE" button. It will show a list of templates you can use to automatically send to your customers. However, I would like to include a line regarding payment errors so I wouldl like to try and amend that template.

I would like to know whether this is possible?? :)

Hello, yes you can do this.

If you know a little bit of html you can use your FTP client to navigate to /mails/en/ find the template you wish to edit and open it, make your changes and save it. Be sure you get your html syntax correct so it actually displays correctly to your customers.

Or you can use this free module, it works great for me when I don't feel like writing any code.
