jodysingh786
They say google & other search engines attach good weightage to websites that have quality backinks to them. In few cases one need's to add the 'link' of that 'backlink website' to one of our site's pages. I wish to know file is it that represents my homepage? In our software which are these files (i.e. index.tpl or index.html etc.,) to those I paste a link code into? It is needed that visitor's can see these link's on my website. Paulito
You are not on your own, The best thing to do is read about what google wants you to do as a website owner ( google webmaster tools ) they know what they want and they want you to do it they way. Google loves backlinks but only from relevant trustworthy sites, it likes social media, so get your site talked about on twitter/facebook etc, get a blog on your site and keep updating with relevant information ( minimum 60% original, so no copy and paste ) They is a lot to learn and remember if your site gets too popular too quickly google will want to know why Paul Edited April 21, 2013 by perfumeskunk (see edit history)
