I am using Prestashop 1.4.9.0 and basically when a customer is placing orders with us, the shopping cart amount in Prestashop is different to that in the Paypal. Once the customer makes payment, it is showing in our back office as payment error. We have done some research and have figured out that we need to apply tax/vat onto our discount code as this is what Paypal does. For e.g. Customers shopping cart in Prestashop shows: Product exc vat = £9.96 Tax on product = £1.79 Shipping inc vat = £1.99 DISCOUNT CODE = -£1.00 TOTAL PRICE TO PAY = £12.74 Customers shopping cart in Paypal shows: Product exc vat = £9.96 Tax on product = £1.79 Shipping inc vat = £1.99 DISCOUNT CODE = -£1.20 TOTAL PRICE TO PAY = £12.54 As you can see Paypal includes vat/tax onto the discount code, whereas, Prestashop doesn't. Is there a way of applying tax to the discount codes in Prestashop?
