ysco
Hello All, I have try`t on my test server to update mine Ps 1.4.8.2 to the latest 1.5.4 but i got many many DB errors. I have updated 1-click to the latest version. First attempt: 1 * Then i try`t first a 1-click upgrade directly from 1.4.8.2 to 1.5.4 ( a lot off DB errors ) 2 * Try`t to upgrade first with 1-click to version 1.4.10.0 ( No errors, all went well ) 3 * After successful upgrade to 1.4.10.0 i try`t to upgrade now to 1.5.4 ( again a lot off DB errors ) 4 * Now i deleted all non Ps modules first from module list and try`t again a upgrade from 1.4.8.2 to 1.5.4 ( and again a lot off errors ) 5 * And finally i try`t again today to do a upgrade from 1.4.8.2 to latest 1.5.4.1 ( again a lot off DB errors ) and i try`t it from 1.4.10.0 to Ps version 1.5.2 ( same bloody errors ) So what else can i do to do a successful upgrade from 1.4.8.2 to 1.5.4 without the many DB errors. I attached one off the log files after a 1-click upgrade, maybe some can give some advice on this. Tung at RockPOS.com
ysco, Unless you are upgrading from a fresh installation 1.4 to 1.5, I believe that 1-click upgrade tool can not help you out! Instead, you will have to upgrade manually, your data, your theme and your custom modules. It's a very complex task, I think.
ysco
@hamsa I can not imagine that i m the only one with these issues, i have updated many ps versions but never had such many DB errors like this upgrade. I have a exact copy from my live server installed on my test server to make sure that everything works before updating my live server. But it seems that this one will be very hard to upgrade without problems. ysco..
Tung at RockPOS.com
Correct, I have never upgraded successfully with this 1-click too. Sorry to say!
