PascalVG
Hmm, maybe directly upload through FTP/cPanel->file manager?? (N.b. PS probably changes extension to jpg, regardless of format)
b22c
Hi but if i upload by ftp i have to replace the exist one that is in Jpeg (that isnt transparent) and for that i have to match the grey color around the images... Cheers
PascalVG
No, PS just gives it the extension jpg, although the format of the file can be png . So just rename filename.png as filename.jpg and upload it. And replace the original filename.jpg file. See if it works...
b22c
Ok but that way the image will lost the trans+arency since when we have an image jpeg the image lost their transparency that format png have
PascalVG
As far as I know PS will still recognise that the file is a png file, and treats it like that. It's just for convenience of naming the file in the php files that it 'renames' it to jpg. It's just the name, it stays apng file. It will not be converted to jpg. If nothing helps, re-upload the files for your current products using the back office -edit product and use the png file for the picture. But first try the FTP road, as it may be faster... Miguel86
I'm haveing the same problem, i tryed with JPG, PNG, and doesn't show the image. Is there any way i can test why the images is not uploaded? i don't think could be due write permissions as website is executed under suPHP and when i add an image to a product is uploaded fine. Any help? Thanks.
PascalVG
Hi Miquel, Did you turn off Smarty-Cache, server cache etc in Adv. Parameters->Performance? Did you clear your browser cache? Let me know how it's going, pascal
