bainzy
Hi I've recently done a manual offline upgrade using WAMP on my site, after the automatic upgrade module failed to work. I upgraded from 1.4.9 to the latest version. The upgrade mostly went smoothly, except for one thing. When I try view categories in the public shop, only a blank page appears. No matter what category I try, using my customised theme or the default theme, I cannot view products by category at all. Yet I can view products as a list if I choose 'newly listed', or view them individually. The categories all look fine in the admin area. Has anybody else experienced this issue, and do you know of any fixes to try? I've tried disabling nearly every module, which fixed an issue I had with the shopping cart not working, but it hasn't helped me get categories working. bainzy
Here is what I see when debugging is enabled, and I try to view products by category.
bainzy
If I disable the top horizontal menu, I then see this instead:
GoGoMo
Maybe there's something missing in the database tables when you manually updated to Prestashop 1.5.4.0. Did you do an upgraded for each sequent stable release (e.g. v1.4.9 to v1.5.2 to v1.5.3 to v1.5.4)? Did you clear your cache?
Herbalife
I'm having the same issue. Any ideas what could be missing from the database tables please?
