WStefanko
Good morning all, I am working on a wholesale site that I would like to have the default set to "allow orders" to be set to default with a specific message. I know you can do it one by one under quantities but I am working with a thousand products with quite a few combinations. I allowed ordering for back orders just trying to figure out the message part. Thank you, Wes Edited April 24, 2013 by WStefanko (see edit history)
Carlsen
Hi, I would suggest that you edit the product.tpl file instead. You can either make a static text, or a text that is only shown if there is stock available or no stock available.
Tung at RockPOS.com
Hello there, See my screenshot: http://take.ms/PYuNbo I will go to your Back office >> Preferences >> Products to enable this mode. Hope this helps!
WStefanko
I have allowed to back order but I already have 800 products uploaded and was hoping not to have to go one by one entering my message. Carlsen, I am not very good at coding and have been playing around on a local server on the product.tpl. Every time I add the line similar to: {l s='Please allow 2 weeks for delivery'} I cannot get it to show up on my product page. I have force compilation on. I am trying to get it right above the line above where the price is located.. Thank you for any information. WStefanko
I added the text between the price and cart for anyone else to take a look at. See attached picture.
Carlsen
Hi WStefanko, So have you added the text successfully now, or are you still having issues with the positioning?
