heyciao
Hi all, a question. Is it correct if I clone each manufacturer into category then assign products to that category, so that I could find Manufacturer organized by Category (and handle the top menu with correct nesting)? An exmple: I sell wedding dresses, all white. The topic differences are all in the brand-manufacturer. I have brands of Haute Couture Brands, Classic, and Pret a Porter. These are three categories I can assign product to. Or should I go hacking the categories page in order to show brands before/instead of products? I know there is a module addon "clone manufacturer to categories", so I'm not inventing nothing new, but in my mind categories are categories and brands are brands, and it sounds like a workaround because a funcionality is still missing. On the other hand I found also people in the forum writing code in the categories page, and the final result is still a work in progress, after lines and lines, also because, modifications can be always challenging in case of system upgrade.
