Prestashop 1.5.2 - Categories page showing redirect loop

Hi,

 

I need some help as I see the error message below when I wanted to to go in to Catalog -> Categories. I am running Prestashop 1.5.2.

 

Prior to this error I have removed all the default categories and products in order to create them from scratch.

 

I think the categories and product table must have been messed up since I can't even add a product without a category and when I tried to go the the category page, the error below appears.

 

Any advice from the experts or anyone previously experiencing this?

where u r getting the error in front office or at the back office have u cleared the cookies...? i think the problem may be with ht access file.
