[SOLVED] How to move the search box to the nav var in ver. 1.5.x?

Hi

 

I want to move the search bar to the left side of the nav var, I tried by moving the modules in the hooks positions but i couldnt get what i want, many of the post in the forum gave that as the solution but did not work for me.

 

What I want to do it's to move the search box like in this image, my questions are:

 

Do i have to create a new hook? and if thats the case what files do i have to modify aside from the css?

 

Or i just have to modify a tpl file inside a module and later on the css???

Hi,

It should be anough to enable the search bar in the top horizontal menu. Modules-> top horizontal menu, tick "show search bar". After this, you can uninstall the other search module
