shoelady Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 If I try to change the shipping option for picking up at my store from Europe to North America, I get an error message and it duplicates that shipping option which can't be deleted and it doesn't show up as a shipping option. shoelady Posted April 14, 2013 Author Share Posted April 14, 2013 I'm using version 1.5.4.0. If I try to add North America, the error message is "Property Carrier->name is not valid". Plus that option does not show up as a shipping option in the shopping cart. That option just defaults to Europe. Now I have 4 of those that have the Pick-up in store option. I can't even delete these options! When I hit the delete button it adds that option again! The only way I know to get rid of them is to remove my program and completely reinstall it. This is ridiculous! I have my shipping settings set to a particular price. I tried to set the shipping range to see if it would show up as a shipping option and it still didn't work. I'm using Firefox. I haven't experienced any other issues yet, but I'm just getting started with trying to get my site working and all I've had is problems with this program and the theme that I just bought which won't install into your program either. Hi Shoelady, Just to make sure you understand the forum, I am not the writer of Prestashop (so "your program" you refer in your message above to isn't mine). I am just another user of Prestashop (PS), who happens to like to (try to) help other people with their problems they might encounter. Almost all people her on the forum have no direct connection with prestashop other than that they use it, just like you and me. This just to make clear... The Theme you bought, is it 1.5.x compatible? Check with the provider of your theme if it works with Prestashop 1.5.4 already. If not, ask them to please quickly fix this, (or else maybe ask your money back, if they don't give any specific date when it will be available). I understand your frustration when you think you buy something nice and it doesn't work... I have no idea what goed wrong with the carrier. If you want, I can have a look at your back office and check if I see any probable cause. But then I need your login name and password. If you trust me with that (you can change your password after I'm finished of course), you can send them to me in a private Message (point your mouse over my name and click the "PM this member" button). (DON'T put them here in the public forum!) Before you reinstall everything, you may be able to delete the double items directly in the Database. shoelady Posted April 15, 2013 Author Share Posted April 15, 2013 Hi Pascal, I am new to this forum, but I realize it's for interacting with other Prestashop users. I was just trying to give you as much information so you could give me any helpful feedback. I did notice at the bottom of my Shipping-shipping option, the section that says Fees by carrier, geographical zone, or ranges is set to Europe. From what I can see, all of my options for location are set to either North America or United States and everywhere else is disabled. Not sure if I'm missing a setting that would affect that section or if there is a glitch that is causing this issue? I'll also check the version of that download and see if it supports my version of Prestashop. Thanks again for your reply and any feedback is greatly appreciated!
