sunshinevape
most of my products require attributes. i have the combinations and attributes set. my issue is i dont want a customer to just purchase the default attributes. Is there a way to stop an addition to the cart without selecting attributes. or force them to "view" the product and define the attributes before adding to cart? thanks sincerely www.sunshinevape.com is the active website if you are referencing my issue
NemoPS
Hi, Uh, why are you putting in those defaults if you don't want your customer to use them? In any case, you can try a small script and disable the click on the add to cart button if either of the attrbiutes blocks hasn't changed. When one of thee changes, you re-enable the add to cart. Maybe put some warning when adding to cart, so that they don't think they can't order the product
tomerg3
You can tell Prestashop to hide the add to cart button http://screencast.com/t/4OBbMdLvAXO You can also use a module that will let the customer select the attributes from the product list page http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/79758-module-product-list-attributes-allow-customers-to-select-product-attributes-on-the-category-manufacturer-supplier-and-search-pages/
