User agent stylesheet?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I recently got to go to take care of the administration of an e-commerce configuratomi previously by a person who can no longer contact.

Having to change the data from the footer (number, contacts ...) I checked first to see if it was possible by means of some form, but it is a "simple" line of text can not be changed by Back Office (there is no trace in any file. dwt and can not find anything even in global.css ...)

With Crome, via inspect element of the text to edit, visualize. Style in the menu: "user agent stylesheet"

could you tell me ... what it means and how to proceed with the amendment, I do not know how to proceed ... version of prestashop is 1.4.8.2 and not use the original theme ...

It 'possible that I can change my details for some constraint template installed?

... thanks to all for your attention!

user agent stylesheet is your user agent is your browser, different browsers set different default CSS rules.

Thank you very much for your answer, could you tell me where I should be in that part of the text in order to edit (I searched everywhere, it seems to me like he was not physically in my server?).

Thanks again and best regards

Thank you again, however, the text to be changed, I only found in the table. sql "configuration" to "FOOTER_DESC", so I changed my data to be changed, but also by deleting the chace to compile still do not see the changes on the site ...

Need to charge something to make the change to the table. sql?

Given that the text of the footer (VAT number, address, etc) is in no tpl file (or css) I found in the file. Sql via phpmyadmin, but even after this change, the footer appears on my site does not change

Excuse the bad English

ok i checked it

i've noticed that you use non default template - so it is probably own modification, right? anyway, you should:

1) check themes/your_theme/footer.tpl file

2) can you say something about modules attached to footer hook? I mean that you can chceck list of footer modules here: modules -> positions (find footer section on list) and give us information about which modules you've got there

i tink that the answer is in one module, which is attached there. Im not sure of course because it is non-default theme, but please follow my points above

These modules are installed, but also deactivating and changing that last line is always visible.

In footer.tpl and other tpl file I only find a link to the supplier of the modified template.

However, the only response to that last line I found in the sql database but changing it nothing happens.

I do not know ... what to do.

Thanks anyway for assistance.

Thanks for the tips, I thought I simply find the text that you can edit, probably wrong, however, alternatively, as a test, I set to 0 px font from global.css and reinstalling and reconfiguring the module blockfooterdata now allows me to rewrite (by BO first did not work) and I think you can also enter via html links and formatting directly from configure.

Thanks again and good day
