monalivia
Hello, I am a new PrestaShop user and I have spent hours trying everything I can think of but am still at a stand still. What I need help with is getting my product categories to be visible on my navigation bar. I am able to add new categories but none of them show up. I have tried going to Catalog> Categories and clicking on "Add New", and then adding my categories. I have then gone to Modules> Top Horizontal Menu> Configure to add the categories, but they are never on the list. I can add CMS pages that become visible but I never have the option to make my categories visible. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
NemoPS
Hi, are you using the default theme with the "top horizontal menu" as navigation bar? If so, modules-> top horizontal menu, select the categories you want to add and click "add", then save

NemoPS
I don't think it's a caching issue. Do you use multiple shops or languages? it might be just that.

glennlawre
Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure what to do after doing what you wrote. Help? You just need to apply the changes and save then refresh your browser page where you expect to see the new categories. Would be no harm to clear your browser cache & history, or maybe even try a completely different browser. I have seen in the past that just refreshing the page after making changes, they do not always reflect correctly in the browser. I have even seen issues with it not showing changes after clearing the browser cache & history and sometimes it takes a long time to show the changes. This is why I like to check changes in different browsers. However as Nemo1 has said, this may not be a caching issue, but always worth a try I feel... NemoPS
You have to add them to the top horizontal menu. Modules list -> top horizontal menu (hit configure), then look to the CMS page name in the right pane, add it and save
