And well my cart is buggy so i was going to start off with a fresh install and move my customers/products and orders over to fresh stuff. So what the best way? toninovak66 Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) If you've ever heard of Store Manager by emagicone you can export from there and re-import into the new store that way. I think the ideal thing, would be an option when doing a fresh install to point to an existing database to extract the required information. I have tried to "auto update" to the latest version, and get a massive bug. toninovak66 Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 Well if you already have your store running, you could do a fresh install and use a temp database. Then change the config file to use your existing store DB and whatever other settings you need to change. All you need to do then is upload your img folder to the server and install any extra modules and your template. I did that when I needed to move our site to another server and it worked perfectly.
