Where did I go wrong

Hello all... my site is new and seemed to coming along great until you click on an item to put it in to the cart. The following message appears :

errorThrown: ''

responseText:

 

and then the customer who is registered tried it several times and gave up... can not have that happening.

 

Please check out the site and your advice would be appreciated.

This happened after I set up https:// (and yes I do have a SSL for the sub domain.)

When I switched back to non SSL the cart worked... so I assume that The issue lies in the preference > General mod.

Is there something I am missing? Further to this if I manually put https:// in front of the url clicking on any link redirects to an unsecured page.
