swarmer
Hi,I'm really delighted with prestashop but I've come across an issue. I've set up a store and I'm pretty sure I've configured all the shipping aspects correctly. I've set zones, carriers, set it to do shipping by weight, set the prices per weight, but when I add items to my store, the postage is stuck at zero. I've made sure that the amounts to quality for free shipping are set very high, and I have weights entered for all of my products. I'm now banging my head against the wall trying to resolve this. Any ideas please?
Patric
Hi, and welcome !Did you specify a default carrier ?Does the shipping fees stay at 0 if you go on steps of the command process ?
swarmer
thanks for the quick response.I have 2 couriers set up, one royal mail for orders under 1 kilo, and 'Courier' for orders over 1kilo. I have Royal mail set as the default, and I have both set up to disable carrier for out of range behaviour which I thought should make sure that one or the other kicks in. I have set up a buyer account to move further through the checkout process, and it seems that it does actually display the correct shipping price further into the checkout, but it isn't displaying it dynamically when the products are being added? Any idea why that might be?
glosticks
have you set the default store location, sounds like its still set to france
swarmer
thanks for the suggestion. Yes it's set to UK, and the site is set up to sell to UK customers only (due to the bulkiness of some of the products). Therefore I'm assuming that because it's for UK customers only, that the site will automatically apply UK P&P;as the (non logged in) user goes along adding products to their cart - I don't know if I've got this wrong and P&P;is only updated once the user is logged in (and has confirmed where they are)?
