JerseyG
Prestashop V 1.5.2 Out of stock email I have not been receiving out of stock emails since my upgrade to version 1.5.2 However I have now found that if I add Attributes via the combinations tag on the product I will then receive email notifications. If I remove the attribute I will no longer receive an alert Has anyone else found this problem and is there a fix/work around. Thanks in advance G This issue was solved when I did a 1-click upgrade from V1.5.2 to 1.5.4.1 Thanks to the people who responded Edited August 20, 2013 by JerseyG (see edit history)
JerseyG
Can I ask one person to reply to this if they are running V 1.5 and receive emails when their stock drops to the level set in the module. I do not want to waste the programmers time and log this as a bug if it is not needed. Just a yes or no from someone please G
TuscaniCustoms
I have the same problem since I have upgraded my 1.4.6.1 presta to 1.5.4.1. I get notification for every single change in stock and combination. It's totaly useless and annoying, meaning I could get 50 email at once and deleting that all the time is just a waste of time and my nerves. I created filter in my gmail account but it doesn't help at all. Somebody must know how this can be switched of.
JerseyG
Hi Sounds as if you have Coverage warning: selected. ensure that is not ticked or you will get an email every item sale. My problem is no emails when item is out of stock, even when selected. Hope this helps you. G

JerseyG
Hi Benjamin My emails are all working fine except for the out of stock emails. Stock with combinations works fine as well. I have my own servers and put them through my own exchange. As no one else reported this problem i assumed it was a problem here but as it is not life threatening I have left it with the hope it will return in the future when i upgrade from 1.5.2 Geoff Edit. If I activate coverage I get loads of emails, but only triggered by "coverage" Edited June 6, 2013 by JerseyG (see edit history)
TuscaniCustoms
Have you checked in your Mail Alerts Module? Modules>Mail Alert>Configure Thank you very much Benjamin, this was the problem, the box was ticked for emailing me when stock is low and it was so by default. I just unticked it and now no more emails are sent to me Problem solved!
Wroyes
I have presta 1.5.4 and 1.5.3 on both it's work well. I ven tested that module again. Have you tried to delete it, clean cache and install again? Mostly that gives the results.
JerseyG
Hi Wroyes Thank you for confirming that it works for you. As I say I am on V 1.5.2 after an upgrade from V 1.4.8 As I was receiving emails for orders, combinations out of stock and stock coverage warnings I had not deleted the module, I have cleaned cache a few time. I have now deleted the module entirely, cleared cache, re installed and configured. I will let you know the results. Thanks again

JerseyG
Hi Wroyes I did receive one email on out of stock after the install, I then changed the threshold to zero and received no emails. Now set back to one and still no emails. Thanks anyway but I do not see a resolution for this within the modules, it is possible that the area in the database being queried did not take the upgrade. JerseyG
Hello again I have being doing other items within the product area and have come across an anomaly that could throw some light on the problems I am getting with not receiving emails when stock goes below the threshold set in the module. I am using advanced stock:- X I want to use the advanced stock management system for this product X Available quantities for current product and its combinations are based on stock in the warehouse o I want to specify available quantities manually With this I get no emails when the stock drops below threshold. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I adjust my settings back to:- o I want to use the advanced stock management system for this product o Available quantities for current product and its combinations are based on stock in the warehouses X I want to specify available quantities manually With this the email alerts work -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I not don’t think that this is just my setup so I would like to hear from anyone with the upper settings to let me know if they receive email alerts on stock dropping below the value set in the mail alerts module. sabio
Thanks for a great module, is there any module that could re-send the emails on product out of stock in at a certain interval? Let's say you forget to order in goods from something that's out of stock, would be great to have a module that 'reminds' you of it Regards
