prestashop 1.4.10 fresh install cannot place product into Cart

Hi!

 

I made a blank install of prestashop 1.4.10, new database, blank installation folder, 100% of scratch.

The installation goes through 100% fine.

After I look at the page the first time, i cannot add a product to the cart, the center area just stays blank (non ajax cart). If i select ajax cart, just nothing happens when pressing the "add to cart" button.

There are no Javascript errors, only some errors saying that certain product pictures cannot be found.

 

I checked ard a bit and saw that if i echo out the "$_COOKIE[self::$cookie->getName()]" in the CartController run() method, it is not defined ("N"). self::$cookie is defined, though.

I can imagine that if at this point the cookie is not initialized, that the browser is maybe held for a bot and nothing is done. But i dont really know why it doesnt get initialized (Browser settings for cookies are on, i can operate other shops with 1.4.8 without problems).
