oldlock
I've not touched 1.5.x since the total, bug ridden disaster that was the earlier versions, (especially when upgrading). Does anyone have any input on whether this newest release (and perhaps the one before it) are truely 'stable' as yet ??
the.rampage.rado
They are stable to point where you get workaround for the bugs you have and they're not shop stoppers. 1.5.4 have huge translation issue. Obviously the coders are hard on work and they don't test what they code or if they test it it's not vigorously....

I tried to insert manually the translation from my old 1.5.2 and there was some error that didn't allow me to insert the translation!
the.rampage.rado
That's because all translations before 1.5.4 are not fully compatible. If you want to use your translation you have to copy'n'paste line by line from your old installation to the new one. This is the fastest way. Of course you have to double check because at 1.5.4 there're many changed English fields and you have to edit accordingly...
