vsc9907
I enabled multi store, created 2 shops. I am trying to give each store a different set of information for "contact us". I followed guidance in this link --> http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/prestashop-15/working-with-info-pages/change-default-footer-contact-info However, when I try to select shop 1 under "Multistore configuration for", it is always changed back to "All Shops", i.e I can't select an individual store to change the contact us information. As a result, whatever change would be applied to allshops. Please advise how to do it. Thanks! -VSC9907
vsc9907
I did a little more research and found out that there is a module called "block contact info". It will place text in the bottom right corner of the home page. However, the same problem exist there... i.e. I can't change contact information just for 1 store. The drop down selection menu in the "block contact info" always change back to "All shops". Hope some of you could advise a way to allow each store to display its own contact info in the home page. -VSC9907

Whatever I do, it always shows: CONTACT US My Company 42 avenue des Champs Elysées 75000 Paris France Tel: 0123-456-789 Email: sales@yourcompany.com Thanks for an advice. vsc9907
I have been trying over the past few weeks, no luck. As another post suggested, it is a problem for that user too. This seems to be a bug. What is the contact for prestashop developer team? I would like to report this issue and get additional help there. Thanks! -VSC

El Patron
this may help some of you: try this: preferences-->store contacts Multistore configuration for-->(shop you want to work with) scroll down to-->parameters you must tell PS that you want custom value for this shop http://screencast.com/t/PUlgnCfo4J
vsc9907
Thanks for the advice. I checked the box as you suggested under "Contact Details", set the address for the store, saved it. I repeated it for 2 stores. But when I broswe the store, the store address showing in the bottom right corner of the site still show the same contact address. Because the store address in the bottom right corner is controlled by "Block Contact Info" module, I went back to the module. I can't change contact information just for 1 store. The drop down selection menu in the "block contact info" always change back to "All shops" or 1 of the store. I appreciate more helps! -VSC
vsc9907
I also wondering if this has anything to do with how the store was setup initially. I remember when the shops are setup, I check the "import" option, which imports many information including contact and store setup from the default store. Was the import was a 1 time event, and you can set custom value for each store later one? -VSC
Trip
I've tested it with blockcontactinfos and had no problems. If it does not work in your config there is possibly something wrong in your configuration or it is/was a bug. I use the lastest version and have no problems. Maybe you can reinstall the module. Than look in the database ps_configuration if the values are there. In my case I have blockcontactinfos_company blockcontactinfos_address blockcontactinfos_phone These values must be present for each shop. For my main shop id_shop_group and id_shop are null and the second has id_shop_group 1 and id_shop 2. These values should be there for evey shop. All the best, trip
