mochaberry
Help!Had a customer order something and they paid through PayPal, then they received an error that the item couldn't be shipped b/c of a payment error (please see attachment). I had to manually go in and override the transaction to accept the payment. What appears to be happening is that Paypal is adding in the tax, however prestashop produces an error b/c the original price is increased by the paypal tax addition. I want the tax to be added and i would like it to not send an error to the client. Is there a work around for this? Any help provided would be great! BWT
I had the same issue it's because of the tax set up. In order to process the orders correctly both payment gateway and back office needs to be set up the same. Go to your payment gateway and make sure the tax and shipping are the same setting as your back office so that when it calculates the total price with tax, shipping, delivery, handling charges they calculate the same amount. This is happening because of the difference it price that's being charged to the customer.
