edzio Posted April 5, 2013 Share Posted April 5, 2013 I have found my store is not sending the tracking number link in the in-transit notification. I have read another forum topic on this found here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/223138-solved-tracking-number-url-not-appearing-in-email-sent-to-customer/ but the solution outlined did not work (I uploaded the new override file, then deleted any records in the ps_carrier table that have been flagged for deletion). The result was when I went to update the tracking number on an order it would just go to a blank white page and no notification would be sent. Can anyone else offer a solution to this issue - or offer clarification to the original solution and why that may have not worked? edzio Posted April 8, 2013 Author Share Posted April 8, 2013 Thanks, I entered the FedEx tracking URL into the enabled carriers ( http://www.fedex.com/Tracking?action=track&tracknumbers=@ ) , updated an order with a tracking number, and the notification is still blank. Whispar1 Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 Yes probably so. You would have to copy the tracking code into all the duplicates. Please note that any new orders placed after your added the tracking code should function properly. If you have a way to do a test order, try that and see if it works.
