valx
Hi, Today I tried to upload a new product in the backoffice of my website, but the images upload gives me this error: "An error occurred During the upload image". I have no idea what might have caused it .... Until a couple of days ago it was working properly. My Prestashop version is 1.5.2.0 Does anyone know how to help me please? NemoPS
It happened frequently with that version (for categories too). Try turning errors on (read my signature, last line), and see if you get any error
Valérie Assetskaya
Hi, You may also check the permissions on img folder. Best regards.

valx
today i have problems again...i really don't understand!!! I turned the errors on, but the only thing i see is "An error occurred during the image upload". Could it be something about the cache and compression? I attached an image about my configuration. NemoPS
Have you tried setting the img folder to 777 permission as Valérie suggested?
valx
yeah...i already tried...the img folder has 777 permissions. what about the image i posted before?
NemoPS
That doesn't mean much. Go to advanced parameters-> configuration information, and screen that one

NemoPS
You're using php5.2, and prestashop requires 5.3 to work properly (at least, this is what I noticed). May not be the reason of the issue, but for sure it's not a good thing. Also, you have to turn register_globals off in PHP.ini
valx
thanks. how can i fix these problems?
NemoPS
You should definitely ask your hosting

NemoPS
For folders, usually 755, that should be enough. For files, I believe the original one is
