[SOLVED] Use "Image slider for your homepage" twice at the homepage

Hi,

 

is it possible to use the "Image slider" module that comes with Prestashop, in two different places at the homepage (at the top of the homepage content and in the left column, right below the categories)?

 

Is it installing again the module with a different name? How do i change the name?

it isn't as simple as it seems, in this case you must also change all other stuff like database (name of table) - change all php scripts which using old tables

 

and of course add new hook support (left/right column register hook in instal procedure and functions to display content of this hooks in front office)

Just download one of the many free slider modules and you will have two.

I'm using Prestashop 1.5.3.1, do you have any suggestion for a free slider?

 

It's for displaying some advertising pictures (3 or more) with links to products, at the left column.
